SCARLET CYCLOPS! Wanda Summers, while a small girl, was forced to be abandoned by her mysterious father, who disappeared in an explosion that that left her blind. She was found and raised by nomadic gypsies, who discovered her natural aptitude for magic could be better focused through a ruby quartz crystal. Indeed, by focusing into her Ruby Eye, she can see just as well as before-- or even better, as she can cause "visions" within the eye that then manifest in the real world-- no matter how unpredictable the outcome!

QUICKFREEZE! Robierto Drakesimoff, long-lost twin brother to Wanda, was adopted by a friendly suburban family until his natural mutant abilities manifested. Because his superhuman speed left freezing temperatures in his wake, Bobby was hated, feared, and ultimately ran (literally) out of town. He was rescued by the Brotherhood of Evil Masters, but he couldn't stay a member with that group for long. He found his way to Team Avengers-X, but his natural wanderlust and impatience will probably mean he will be moving on sooner rather than later!
