When the Flipside blog began, it was a place where I could explore a Marvel universe with my own sketches and ideas. These weren't really full-lenght stories-- just "ficlets" as I called them, complete with an original sketch inspired by real-world comics covers. The gimmick? Everything was "flipped!" Heroes were now villains, and villains were now heroes. It made for some really interesting stories and tweaks to what we already knew, and it was amazing to see how fine of line there was between Marvel heroes and villains, as well as how cohesive things really were in those early days of Marvel.
At one point, I was making a new cover and ficlet every week, for nearly two years! Now, here they are laid out in one convenient page, in chronological order. Enjoy!
